People lover and in a continuous search of good light, right timing and emotions I’ve found that one of the things without I cannot breathe is photography. I believe that my work demands a strong dedication to quality and a deep understanding of each client.
Sports journalist with over 20 years of experience, member of AIPS (International Sports Press Association), freelance photographer for over 15 years, I photographed football matches from the strongest European championships (England, Spain, Italy, Germany), Champions, Europe and Conference League.
Wedding, sports and documentary photography, curiosity, openness to the unknown and knowledge have guided me on a journey of over 15 years in the world of image creation. I love candid photography, and rather than moving elements into the frame, I prefer to move myself. See you around!
I would not have thought on Easter night, when I traveled to Italy for a few Serie A matches, that my entire calendar for the last seven days plus the next two would be turned upside down.
On the morning that all of Italy received the news of Pope Francis’ disappearance, I was walking through the streets of Parma looking for a cafe. At an intersection, I stopped next to two ladies who were discussing it in whispers. With a lump in my throat, I did a search on Google. I found the first news published in a few minutes. How sad! It was true, even though many people expected this, almost no one thought it would happen right after Easter.
What a match, what a final, what a player, what a career! To play at a high level at 40 years and 4 months, to score in a final against Spain, be it a friendly or a low-stakes tournament, to be there for your team (yes, Cristiano Ronaldo seems to me to be playing more wisely than ever – maybe his physique doesn’t help him to be selfish anymore; however, time forgives no one)… all this can only be part of a divine plan to end a career whose attributes are performance, ambition, work to the point of exhaustion, many trophies and a bit of genius.
On May 21, 2025, all roads led to Bilbao for the Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The stakes were huge, a direct place in the Champions League in 2025/2026 and saving a disastrous season. It has been 17 years since Spurs last won a trophy, the League Cup in 2008, and 41 years since their last European trophy, the UEFA Cup in 1984. Brennan Johnson’s first-half strike secured Tottenham victory and a place in next year’s Champions League.
The album is hardcover, solid and robust, has 44 pages, superior print quality and is produced with attention to detail. Soul, imagination and creativity are put into it, but also the effort of the over 12,000 km traveled to, in and from Germany throughout the EURO 2024 period.
