After Lyon won the away leg 3-1, the return leg seemed like a mere formality even before the kick-off whistle. The Romanians’ boss announced that he would not send his best team to France and that he intended to give more minutes to the young players.

The siege continued after the break and just a minute after the restart Mikautadze scored a double after a textbook action. The ball starts from the center of the field and in four passes goes over the dreamy defense of the Romanians, reaches the Georgian who fulfills a simple formality: 3-0!
