FCSB won the Romanian football derby against Dinamo, 3-1. Daniel Birligea and Octavian Popescu closed the match in the first half. With 3-0 at halftime, the Romanian champions took the foot off the accelerator and gave their opponents a chance to get closer to the goal. Selmani scored for 3-1 from a controversial penalty and had another great opportunity to make it 3-2.
FCSB has a 7-point lead over the main pursuer, CFR Cluj, with 9 points left in the game and is preparing to celebrate winning its second consecutive championship title.
