Wherever we walked, people congratulated us, shook our hands and wished us further success: “You have the most beautiful audience at the EURO!” And that’s right, I’ve been to many stadiums in this championship. There are others who stand out for their creativity and dedication, but ours have won many hearts.
In Frankfurt, the draw with Slovakia sent us into the round of 16 from first place, and the arena was 85% colored yellow. And how the fans lived the moment was extraordinary! We have rarely seen such an atmosphere during a match with Romania playing. We are proud of our team and the fact that we were able to be there.
